The WMHS Robotics team travelled to St. Louis for the VEX Robotics World Championship. The team had an amazing adventure and finished 101st IN THE WORLD!!

On April 20th the WCS board of education recognized 3 of our youngest Kathy Swan Award winners.

We are excited to announce our 2026 OJN Kathy Swan Award winners. Four students received this honor at our April 6th School Board meeting.

Celebrating 20 years of the Kathy Swan Awards! We honored eight students who embody Kathy’s legacy of hard work and a positive attitude. Nominated by teachers, these "quiet heroes" lead by doing the right thing every day.

Wabash High School’s Mr. Bill Chittenden has been named the 2025 AITJ Teacher of the Year, recognizing his exceptional dedication to students and his leadership in Japanese language education. Learn more about this statewide honor and his continued impact on our school community.

WCS is proud to announce that SRO Sam Hipskind has been named President of the Indiana School Resource Officers Association.

WMS students took on the challenge of writing 100-word suspense stories for the Young Writers Association’s “Fright Night” contest—and over 90 were selected for publication! Learn how this creative project encouraged concise storytelling and celebrated student success.

The Wabash City Schools board has again been recognized by the Indiana School Boards Association with an Exemplary Governance Award for 2024.

Wabash City Schools leads Wabash County in graduation rates. WCS also leads many larger districts in northeast Indiana.

Wabash City Schools named a Red Wagon Corporation by Riley Children's Foundation for exemplary fundraising for the second year in a row.
