Non-Parent/Guardian Delay & Cancellation Alerts

Wabash City Schools is excited to be using ParentSquare for all school-to-home communications. We will use ParentSquare to announce delays and cancellations to staff and parents/guardians. In the past, we used School Messenger phone service to announce delays and cancellations to parents and guardians, as well as many community partners and citizens without students in our system who wanted to know when WCS had a delay or cancellation. Those individuals and organizations who were on our call list will need to register with ParentSquare and join our group called "WCS Community Alerts (Non-guardians)"

For non-guardian/parents who would like to receive alerts about delays, cancellations, or other critical alerts, click the button below and sign up for our WCS Community Alerts (Non-guardians) group. Again, this is for folks that DO NOT have a student at Wabash City Schools. All parents, guardians, and staff are already signed up for alerts about delays and cancellations.


To get started, just click the button below. For a detailed explanation of all the steps, click this tutorial, or just follow the prompts--it's pretty simple. This is a self managing system, WCS staff isn't able to add or remove community members. When you want to stop receiving weather notifications, simply leave the group.
