Facility Project Proposal

On April 8th, 2019 Wabash City Schools held a public meeting to communicate our goals, challenges, and vision as it relates to our buildings and facilities.  Wabash City Schools' vision is to create a legacy of opportunity for all. To achieve our vision and respond to new challenges, WCS is evaluating several building projects that could take place over the next few years without raising taxes from the 2018 level. We are seeking comments and ideas from our community, as we have from our Student Safety Committee, and hoping to have a public, transparent conversation about the future of our community.
Below is the presentation Superintendent Callahan gave on April 8th. Below that is a comment board where you can leave questions and/or comments about our initial building plans. We will continue to have more detailed information made public at our school board meetings and encourage any interested community members to attend. Our school board meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month at 6:00pm. We usually hold our meetings at Wabash City Hall, but we will be at Wabash Middle School on April 15th and at OJ Neighbours May 6th.
