On Friday, May 5th, Wabash City Schools held its 3rd Annual Apache 5K for all Wabash Middle School and Wabash High School students. The annual event has been created and built by the Wabash Physical Education Department. The motivation behind the event is to promote a healthy life long lifestyle for all students and staff.
Over 230 students and staff signed up and ran in the 3rd Annual Apache 5K. Wabash City Schools believes in building relationships is key to student engagement and events like this help build a culture of a healthy community for all. T-shirts were free to all students who signed up prior to April 19th. Thank you to Harvey Hinklemeyer's for their sponsorship of these shirts and the event.
